For those who aren’t heading to Dallas for the iconic Arkansas-Texas A&M soccer game this weekend, Northwest Arkansas has plenty of live music performances, festivals, and other events.

FRIDAY

The alternative cover band of the 90s The Mixtapes will perform in George’s Majestic Lounge from 9:30 p.m. The band mainly plays melodies from well-known bands such as Nirvana, Weezer and Foo Fighters. General admission to the show is $ 15 and tickets are at George’s. available website.

The FloatLife Fest has returned for the fourth time at the Coler Mountain Bike Preserve in Bentonville and runs through Sunday. The event includes riding lessons with professional riders, group rides, and nightly social gatherings.
