This North Texas ghost kitchen offers barbeque, hot link queso, peanut butter Snickers pie and more
Earlier this year, the Secret Sauce Barbecue brand was launched in existing City Works Eatery and Pour House locations, including Frisco and Fort Worth. A “ghost kitchen” concept, the food is only available via delivery service.
Influenced by the owner’s “love of smoked meat and barbecues,” Bottleneck Management – the company that operates all City Works locations – decided to launch its first ghost kitchen as a grill brand because, according to Bottleneck’s website, it was a versatile one Allows for a large portion meal.
Barbeque also goes well with the delivery concept, as it is easier to pack and travel with than other dishes as a take-away order.
The menu has starters to share: hot link queso and crispy fried smoked wings that can be dipped in Carolina mustard barbecue sauce, buffalo sauce, or Nashville hot sauce. The brand also offers a variety of Texas-style salads and chilli, prepared with Angus steak, milk stout, pork, chipotle peppers, sour cream, and red onions.
Its smoked meat served straight from the smokers includes baby back ribs, hot links and jumbo smoked chicken wings, and pulled pork and pulled chicken that can be served in a taco or sandwich.
The Smokehouse Burger is prepared with Barbecue Pulled Pork Shoulder, Smoked Provolone, Barbecue Bacon Onion Relish, Carolina Mustard Barbecue Sauce and Buttermilk Onion Rings.
Southern comfort pages include french fries, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, cream corn, baked beans and mac and cheese. Customers can also order chipotle coleslaw and Brussels sprouts.
For dessert, the peanut butter Snickers cake is prepared with peanut butter mousse, oreo biscuit crust, Snickers pieces, whipped cream, chocolate and caramel sauce.
Secret Sauce Barbecue is located in all City Works and Old Town Pour House locations in the United States. It can be ordered through Uber Eats and DoorDash.
