Virgin Hotels Turns to Virdee to Deploy Self Check-in
MIAMI and AUSTIN, Texas – Virgin Hotels – one of the most unique and forward-thinking hotel brands – is partnering with Virdee to implement the hospitality industry’s leading virtual reception solution, ensuring a premium digital check-in experience for all hotel guests.
Virdee Kiosks are currently piloting Virgin Hotels in Chicago and Dallas with the Nashville facility operational, and Virdee will grow with the hotel’s portfolio as the brand opens new hotels in more world-class destinations. The kiosks offer the guest a seamless experience and offer a digital option for quick and efficient check-in. The in-lobby experience works side-by-side with Virgin Hotels’ Lucy Hotels mobile application, so guests can choose where to check-in, on the go or at the kiosk.
“We are excited to be working with Virdee to enable all hotel guests to securely check-in on the device they are most comfortable with,” said Denise Walker, VP of Information Technology, Virgin Hotels. “With the recovery underway and in the ‘no-touch’ age, it is imperative that we continue to prioritize the safety of our guests. Virdee’s solutions enable us to offer a personalized, fully digital check-in experience that ensures that every visitor has a bespoke check-in process. “
When guests arrive at a Virgin hotel, they can access their reservation through Virdee Identity, which uses advanced biometric solutions or two-factor authentication. From there, they can submit payments, sign terms and conditions, and submit special requests. Remote assistance is available at the push of a button, and the guest can quickly leave the kiosk with a physical key to access their guest room.
The check-in experience is even more powerful for members of Virgin Hotels’ loyalty and preference program – The Know – as the Virdee receptionist automatically matches and retrieves guest information. For guests who are not yet a member of The Know, Virdee offers a simple, elegant login experience to convert more guests than traditional paper or telephone processes.
“We are proud to announce this partnership with one of the most innovative and innovative hotel brands in our industry,” said Virdee co-founder Nadav Cornberg. “As Virdee and Virgin Hotels expand their partnership, we will introduce advanced technology features that will advance the industry and help reduce operating costs while improving the guest experience.”
