An exciting pop-up restaurant is now open just for Wagyu in North Texas. The restaurant, named Wagyu Mania, will now appear on Plano’s Mitsuwa Marketplace through December 31st. Guests can order dishes based around the premium marbled Japanese beef, such as wagyu sandwiches, burgers, sushi, and curry.
The Mitsuwa Marketplace pop-up is co-organized by the Japanese Foreign Trade Organization (JETRO). Guests can also buy Wagyu to take away. Waygu Mania will be open Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mitsuwa Marketplace in Plano at 100 Legacy Drive through the end of the year.

A cozy cafe called Staycation is now open in Richardson
A new restaurant under the direction of the former Food and Beverage Manager of the Joule Dallas Hotel opened yesterday at 201 S. Texas St. CultureMap Dallas reports that Staycation serves coffee beverages made with tweed beans along with freshly baked bagels, bread, and pastries. The plan is to add sandwiches at some point and then add beer and wine in the evening.
Beerhead Bar & Eatery opens in Plano
Community Impact is following the opening of a restaurant chain in Plano dedicated to craft beer. The Beerhead Bar & Eatery at 5805 Preston Road, Suite G594, serves food such as pizza, sandwiches, brunch dishes and a “Barbarian Pretzel”, accompanied by dips such as Dark Ale Beer Mustard and New Belgium Craft Beer Cheese. At Beerhead, expect 50 beers on tap and around 350 different bottles to choose from. The Plano site is the first Texas outpost for the Chicago-based company.
