Luxury consignment store RealReal opened its 18th retail location on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach last month.

The store at 331 Worth Avenue focuses on authenticated luxury shipments and sells a variety of items including designer clothing for men and women, fine jewelry, watches, handbags, art, housewares and more.

It is the second RealReal retail location in Florida and the first store for shopping. The company also operates a consignment office in Miami.

Here are five things you should know about the 10 year old company:

The RealReal Merchandise Show History

Everything is sold in RealReal stores, including furniture and decoration.

For women, dresses are part of the transition from day to night; Paragraphs by Christian Louboutin, Chanel, Jimmy Choo; and investment handbags from Hermès and Louis Vuitton monogram.

For men, brands include Gucci + Louis Vuitton and streetwear brands from Yeezy, Nike, and Nike x Off-White; casual weekend wear such as T-shirts and button-down shirts from Prada, Saint Laurent, and Brunello Cucinelli; and backpacks, briefcases and weekend bags from Gucci and Louis Vuitton.

There is also demand for fine jewelry and watches from Patek Philippe, Bregeut, Van Cleef & Arpels, Cartier and Rolex.

The RealReal opened on September 24th in an area of ​​1,700 square meters previously used by the women's clothing store Sharis Palm Beach.  The company's focus is on authenticated luxury broadcasts.

For senders, The RealReal accepts fine jewelry and watches, women’s and men’s fashion, home living, art and children. You can find accepted brands in the shop’s designer directory.

Via the Palm Beach Store

The RealReal in Palm Beach occupies a 1,700 square meter space that previously housed the women’s clothing store Sharis Palm Beach.

One of the smaller RealReal locations that reflects the Palm Beach lifestyle in an original and artistic way, the company said.

Senior Creative Director Bianca Wendt has incorporated splashes of color such as turquoise, salmon pink and green throughout the store and added a checkerboard floor with sustainable cork tiles.

The company also partnered with design collective Colpa Press to create a one-of-a-kind mural inspired by Kelly Klein’s book “Pools” as well as scented commercials from the 1980s and 90s.

Is The RealReal Legitimate?

• It has sold more than 19 million items.

• The average monthly volume of new senders from the first to the second half of 2020 increased by 28%

• 35% of new senders in 2020 were between 18 and 34 years old

• The top five luxury brands with the highest resale value in 2020 were Goyard, Van Cleef & Arpels, Louis Vuitton, Hermès and Chanel

• Depending on the value, the shop takes between 15% and 70% commission on the articles.
