What was your family’s experience with Dallas ISD’s turnaround school model?

Texas schools are providing resources to help children recover from the COVID-19 learning slide after a disruptive year of education.

Dallas ISD will likely draw on some well-known programs to help students recover, including the ACE or Accelerating Campus Excellence model, which provides additional support for the district’s neediest campuses. DISD also uses the Teacher Excellence Initiative or the TEI model to identify the most effective teachers and reward them with higher pay.

The Dallas Morning News Education Lab wants to hear from students, families, and educators who have experience on the ACE campus or within the TEI system.

Fill out the forms below with what you liked – or didn’t like – about each program. We can get in touch to find out more.
