Where to shop in Dallas right now: 8 must-hit stores for July
Shopping in July is all about getting sales, getting ready for school, and thinking about fall. This month’s “Where to Shop” column has all of that plus a few fun store openings and product launches. Here are eight great stores to check out now, before we move the calendar towards the long, hot, and sweaty month of August.
Dallas Running Company in Southlake Town Square
After the Dallas Running Company recently teased on Facebook, they’re slated to open their third location this month at 120 State St. on Southlake Town Square. Shoppers can expect the same services and experiences at the brand’s Dallas and Plano stores, including expert shoe adjustments with gait analysis; social runs and community events; and of course a collection of active and leisurewear, accessories and equipment. Be sure to check their social media pages for updates as the finish line approaches.
Diesel in the NorthPark Center
Denim fans will be delighted to learn that Diesel has just opened its new permanent NorthPark Center location next to Shinola on level one between Nordstrom and Macy’s. Diesel prides itself on its denim treatments, washes, fabric innovations, and fit. To celebrate the opening, the store is giving its customers an exclusive gift when they buy, while stocks last.
Sleep in the West Village
For the important job of decorating dorm rooms, Dormify, a dedicated college lifestyle and home decor destination, has popped up in a temporary stationary space in the West Village of Dallas. It’s Monday through Saturday 11am to 7pm and Sunday 12pm to 6pm on McKinney Ave. 3699, Suite 405, open until August. Design consultants are on site to plan and furnish small spaces and reservations are recommended through this link.
Lele Sadoughi x Barbie
The playful accessory brand with roots in Dallas is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Malibu Barbie with a limited collection of matching accessories for adults and children. The 12-piece collection includes Lele Sadoughi’s signature knotted headbands, stud earrings, bucket hats, and sunglasses, available in both adult and child sizes, priced between $ 45 and $ 195. The brand new Lele Sadoughi boutique in Highland Park Village is hosting a kid-friendly party to launch the new line on Thursday, July 15, from 12pm to 6pm. The event features a Barbie photo op, sweet treats, a gift with the purchase, and a chance to meet Lele for herself.
Mosaic Makers Collective at Galleria Dallas
Known for women-designed merchandise and creative workshops, the Bishop Arts Store is expanding with a fun pop-up in Galleria Dallas that opens gently on July 12th and then one on the weekend of July 31st through August 1st Grand Opening Celebrates Galleria is on the second floor, and shoppers can expect an upscale, high-quality Mosaic experience featuring merchandise from more than 45 Texas women. This includes some of the same merchandise sold at the Bishop Arts location, such as the Dallas Map canned glasses from Onderkast Studio and Frida Onesies from Mi Cielo.
Louis Vuitton at Legacy West
The march towards luxury shopping dominance continues at Plano’s Legacy West with the recent opening of a new Louis Vuitton store. Located at 7801 Windrose Ave., # H100, the boutique has all of the leather goods, shoes, accessories, travel, and fragrances that LV fans crave. Store highlights include locally commissioned artwork, a wall of textiles, an on-site hot stamping service to personalize leather goods, a full fragrance counter, a wide selection of the latest handbags and men’s sneakers, and more.
Nordstrom anniversary offer
The department store’s highly anticipated annual anniversary sale runs from Wednesday, July 28th to Sunday, August 8th, in stores and online (prices will rise again on August 9th). Nordstrom Card members can shop during Early Access from Friday, July 16, or earlier, depending on their Nordy Club Card membership status. Check out top brands like Nike, UGG, Steve Madden, AllSaints, Dyson, Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown and more. Wildlike
In order to prove that opposites attract in the world of personal expression, the new jewelry and piercing boutique Wildlike promises, in its recently opened Shops of Highland “the rough edges of the tattoo and piercing culture with the coolness and grace to combine fashion ”. Park shop. The concept comes from Alysa Teichman, owner of the long-standing Ylang 23 jewelry store in the second generation in Dallas. Not only do they pierce ears, but they offer a well-edited selection of piercing-specific jewelry, including designs from BVLA, Pamela Love, Maria Tash, Kismet from Milka, and a private label.
