3 new restaurants, 1 bar coming to Dallas’ Mockingbird Station

Mockingbird Station, a shopping and dining complex that flanks part of the Central Expressway in Dallas, has a fleet of new restaurants and bars that are about to open.

Two spots, Sekushi and Wulf Burger, will open shortly. Two more will open in 2022.

The news comes after one of Mockingbird Station’s longest tenants, the 20-year-old Irish pub Trinity Hall, closed in August 2021.

Here’s a look at what’s to come:

Frisco Restaurant Wulf Burger brings its signature red burger buns to Dallas. (They’re red from the beet extract.) The menu includes three beef burgers and two vegan Impossible burgers, as well as a normal or spicy “Chicken Sandie” and French fries. Wulf Burger moves in where Agu Ramen was. It is expected to open in early November 2021.

Sekushi is a sushi restaurant that has moved in place of Poke O. Find it near Urban Taco. It is scheduled to open at the end of 2021.

The Finch is an American restaurant that is replacing Cafe Express – the flagship on the corner of the building that has been vacant for about three years. The Finch comes from Milkshake Concepts, the company that operates a handful of restaurants in Deep Ellum (Serious Pizza, Vidorra, Harper’s, and more). The company has expanded some of these restaurants to Addison, with others coming soon to Grand Prairie. The Finch’s menu includes seafood, soup, salad, pizza, pasta, and appetizers such as mushroom risotto and Cioppino-style sea bass. It is expected to open in spring 2022.

Hack Shack – formerly called The Turn – is an indoor golf simulator bar that moves instead of Twin Peaks on the second floor of Mockingbird Station. Hack Shack will mainly be a sports venue, but there will also be food and drinks. It is scheduled to open in 2022.

Mockingbird Station is located on the northeast corner of Mockingbird Lane and the Central Expressway in Dallas.
