7+ food festivals and other events this weekend in Collin County
In Plano there is a Beastie Boys tribute act in the Legacy Food Hall on Friday at 8 p.m. and at 9 p.m. the Haunted Hall Bar Crawl takes you through the 5 bars of the food court on 3 floors. The popular Hall & Oats tribute act The Rich Girls performs at Legacy Hall on Saturday night.
Also in Plano in Oak Point Park Friday and Saturday from 10:45 am to 8:45 pm, the Plano Music and Arts Festival offers concerts, art and a car show. It also has a “food garden” with lots of grill, pizza, burgers and beer.
And don’t forget the market at Legacy North in Plano on Sundays from 12pm to 5pm with live music, art installations, giveaways and 30 vendors with food and drinks.
The McKinney Wine and Music Festival is back on Saturday, October 16, from 12pm to 7pm and on Sunday from 12pm to 5pm. It includes live music in Towne Lake Park, a local dealer market, and over 100 types of wine.
Also in McKinney on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Ratrodtober Fest # 6 is a popular historic car and bike show with lots of beer.
There is more wine, food, and vendors at the Eden Hill Fall Sip & Shop in Celina on Sundays from 11am to 5pm
With the temperature finally dropping into the ’70s, this weekend is also a great time to see farmers markets like the Frisco Fresh Market, Red Tent Farmers Market in Shops at Willow Bend in Plano, McKinney Farmers Market in Chestnut Square, and Richardson Visit Farmers Market.
