Christies is a great bar in Dallas to watch the games

If you’re looking for a sports bar to see the Olympics, try Christie’s on Greenville Avenue. Christies has dozens of TVs and three floors of pubs – meaning there is a place for every type of Olympic fan, from the casual fanatic to the obsessive obsessive obsessive.

If it’s been a minute since you’ve been with Christie’s, it moved: nicknamed “Cheers of Uptown” for 29 years of serving beer and wings on McKinney Avenue. In early 2021, the bar moved to its current home on Greenville Avenue.

With the new excavations comes a bigger bar, a new roof terrace and even more TVs than the last seat.

The co-owners say they will be televising every Olympic sport during the bar’s business hours. The 2020 Summer Olympics will air from Tokyo between Friday, July 23rd and Sunday, August 8th, 2021.

Christies will also open earlier for certain events, such as the women’s soccer game at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, 2021, between Team USA and New Zealand. Check out Christie’s Facebook page for updated details on when they will open earlier than their usual 11:00 AM

The bar has a bit of the quality of a self-chosen adventure: the first floor bar is great for serious sporting events, with the largest TV block above the bar. Grab a table on the first floor when you eat. Go to the second floor to play. And keep walking up to the rooftop to see Giant Jenga and more sports – and a surprisingly cool atmosphere even when it’s hot.

Now there is only one question left: When do you get up from the couch to root for Team USA with some friends? Here is a schedule of notable events – gymnastics, swimming and athletics are great for me.
