Dallas Cowboys won’t require COVID-19 vaccinations, masks for fans this football season
The AT&T Stadium does not require proof of COVID-19 vaccination if football fans go to a Dallas Cowboys game this season.
Owner Jerry Jones announced this on Wednesday after the training ended, according to reports from the Dallas Morning News and Fox 4.
The Cowboys later released a statement, adding that masks are recommended for those not vaccinated against the virus.
The AT&T Stadium may by order of Texas Gov. Greg Abbott can be operated at 100% capacity and without a mask mandate. However, companies are allowed to add capacity limits and restrictions.

The NFL has no set guidelines for mask mandates, according to Fox 4.
AT&T Stadium will host the Cowboys’ first home game of the preseason on Saturday when they face the Houston Texans.
The last large crowd to enter the AT&T Stadium was when the hugely popular Mexican fighter Canelo Alvarez battled Billy Joe Saunders for the super middleweight title in May.
More than 73,100 people took part in the fight, according to the Associated Press.
The Dallas Morning News reported that the total number of visitors to the Cowboy’s home last year was 219,021.
The team’s November 8 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers drew 31,700 fans, most of them in the NFL, the newspaper reported.
