The 2021 Christmas season is being celebrated like never before by the Dallas-Fort Worth food and beverage industry. Restaurants and bars show an unprecedented determination to celebrate like they did in 2019, that is, to celebrate like we did before the pandemic.
There are themed bars, elaborate decorations and other pop-ups in special editions.

Here are four festive new holidays:
Chill Minster Pub Pop-Up
The Ill Minster Pub in Uptown is an old hand at themed pop-ups and is now home to everything related to Christmas, season and alcohol vacation with lights, themed shot wheel, cocktails, Christmas carols on the terrace, a live Santa Claus on the weekend, and a Santa Claus “Throne of Lies”. The cocktail menu is rich in peppermint, spices and berries, such as Gingerblitz’d with rum, Irish cream and gingerbread syrup. A back entrance hallway is covered in wrapping paper, icicle lights, and hanging snowflakes, and the hallway to the bathroom is lined with Christmas movie posters. During the pop-up, which lasts until December 31st, the Chill Minster Pub has themed nights, PJ parties, biscuit decorations and Christmas movie nights every Monday.
Santa’s Hall in Trinity Groves
The hall has been redesigned into a seasonal pop-up with a festive decor. The walls are covered in wrapping paper, garlands wind their way through the room, lights are strewn across the ceiling, and huge candy canes and ornaments hang from above. Three festive trees and Santa’s oversized chair anchor the space. Seasonal drinks include a candy stripetini with vanilla vodka, the grinch with raspberry vodka, and the Frosty AF with gin, creme de violette, blue curacao, and champagne. Each week Santa’s Hall will partner with a different charity that hosts donations, toys and food drives. Thursday-Friday from 4pm to 11pm and Saturday-Sunday from 2pm to 10pm. The room is available for private events from Monday through Wednesday through December.
