Houston-based Toasted Yolk Cafe to open this fall at Gateway Plaza in Southlake

After exploring more than 50 locations in the area, Toasted Yolk Cafe has finally hit the North Texas market.

The Houston-based restaurant will debut at the Gateway Plaza shopping mall in Southlake sometime this fall, according to a press release. The 4,056 square foot breakfast and lunch restaurant is operated by a Houston and Dallas-based franchise group called Yolked LLC.

“We’re excited to bring this fresh new concept to the Southlake market and become part of the community,” said Ryan Patterson of Yolked LLC in the press release.

Patterson said he and his team had reviewed more than 50 locations in Dallas-Fort Worth and kept coming back to Southlake, where they believed there wasn’t enough good breakfast and lunch options.

The restaurant has a full bar and the slogan “It’s never too early to be roasted.”

Toasted Yolk Cafe was founded just outside of Houston in Conroe, Texas in 2010 and now has more than 20 locations in the greater Houston area.

The company is currently expanding across Texas and Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.
