Bombardier expands interior offerings in Dallas

Bombardier is expanding the range of interior repair and renovation activities at its Dallas, Texas service center. The OEM will work with Global Engineering & Technology (GETI), a specialist in aircraft equipment, to provide improved service and support for the interior.

Building on a longstanding relationship between the two companies, the collaboration with GETI of Wichita will benefit from the fact that the provider is already familiar with Bombardier business jets at the Bombardier service center in Wichita, Kansas.

Dallas Service Center customers will have access to enhanced interior repair and refurbishment services for their aircraft floors, cabinets, seats and upholstery on various aircraft platforms. The service center is staffed with highly qualified maintenance technicians and committed support staff.

“We’re excited to offer our customers even more options for OEM-assisted interior repairs and refurbishments at our world-class Dallas facility,” said Christopher Debergh, Vice President, OEM Parts and Services. “The improvement of these services is a testament to our commitment to continue to meet growing customer demand with quality products and offerings that exceed expectations.”

This latest news builds on a series of announcements of improvements to Bombardier’s global customer service network. These include the expansion of the service center network in Berlin (Germany), Miami (Florida), London-Biggin Hill (UK), Singapore and a new service center under construction in Melbourne (Australia).

In addition, customers have access to new line maintenance stations at strategic locations in the USA and Europe as well as 30 mobile units of the customer response team worldwide, all of which are equipped to support Learjet, Challenger and global business jets. Bombardier is currently expanding its presence in service centers around the world and is well on the way to increasing its service and support infrastructure footprint by 50%.
