City and Colour’s Dallas Green postpones tour dates after contracting COVID-19
TORONTO – City and Color’s Dallas Green says it was forced to cancel shows in several Canadian cities after testing positive for COVID-19.
Green said in an Instagram post that he and the crew members caught the virus on his concert tour despite being fully vaccinated and taking precautions to be “as safe as possible”.
A native of St. Catharines, Ontario, says those affected are “OK” while they rest and isolate.
He says scheduled Toronto and Montreal performances this month have been postponed to February.
Green, who became known as part of the post-hardcore Alexisonfire outfit, apologized to fans in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Milwaukee and Saint Paul, Minnesota for canceling shows earlier this week.
He says he will try to make amends “one day on the street”.
“It was so nice and rewarding to be back on the road and sing for all of you,” wrote Green on Thursday. “I hope everyone understands and see you in the new year.”
