Gory Halloween display goes viral for its realistic and violent look

Last year, a Dallas man’s Halloween exhibit made headlines after police visited his home several times for its realistic appearance. This year, Steven Novak’s creepy decor goes viral again with an even more violent and gruesome scene.

Novak, an artist and engineer, calls the exhibition “The Dallas Massacre”, which consists of several mutilated mannequins and lots of fake blood.

In the past, the realistic-looking bloodbath has caused neighbors to call the police after they thought they’d stumbled upon a crime scene, according to the Dallas Observer. That hasn’t stopped Novak from adding more to its exhibition this year.

The fake blood consists of red food coloring and corn syrup, explains Novak in videos on his social media accounts.

In addition to last year’s “dead corpse” on the roof, Novak added several body parts from mannequins filled with skeletal pieces and styrofoam and painted them red before displaying them in his front yard.

The wood chopping fountain, which looks like a body part is going through, sprays fake blood across the lawn in a children’s pool. He says the water in the pool is being recycled back to the well in the wood chopper so he can keep spraying the fake blood.
