Clint Cash owns a handful of rental properties in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, some of which have tenants who have been hit by the pandemic.
“I work with them as best I can to help them because as a landlord I don’t want to lose my tenant,” said Cash.

Cash says he sympathizes with those who still can’t pay their bills, but says the government has put landlords in a position where they can’t either.
“There is not enough profit for these mothers and fathers to pay their own bills and they are going to lose their houses and so those houses will be foreclosed,” he said.

It is likely that the latest ruling in the US Supreme Court, which allowed the moratorium to continue with a razor-thin margin earlier this summer, will be challenged.
