We’ll Take Five! MCR Purchases a Handful of Marriott and Hilton Hotels for $94 Million
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Give me five! MCR, the fourth largest hotel owner operator in the country, has acquired a quintet of premium branded hotels in Texas and Washington.
With a total of 674 rooms, the five hotels are located in some of the fastest growing metropolitan areas in the United States, including the Renton Aerospace Center, Washington (which has produced 14,500 Boeing aircraft!), Dallas’s Telecom Corridor and Houston’s Energy Corridor. The portfolio includes four Marriotts and one Hilton. MCR bought the five hotels for $ 94 million.
The 146-room Residence Inn by Marriott Seattle South / Renton is directly across from Boeing’s 1,000,000-square-foot Renton aircraft assembly plant, which manufactures 737 jets, just 20 minutes from downtown Seattle and 10 minutes from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and King County International Airport-Boeing Field. Built in 2019, the waterfront hotel offers breathtaking views of Lake Washington! The extended-stay pet-friendly property offers home-like amenities including free WiFi, fully equipped kitchens in every suite, fitness center and an outdoor patio with BBQ. Don’t feel like cooking? Start your day with a free hot breakfast or grab a snack from the on-site market. In the evenings, relax in the lobby bar, which serves locally made beers from the Pacific Northwest and light snacks.
