Often referred to as terrace or garden houses, zero-lot-line houses offer a “lock-and-leave” lifestyle that is the definition of easy living.
Real estate agent Jeannie Nethery and Pam Brannon have enjoyed the zero-lot-line lifestyle for nearly three decades – both live south of I-635 and love easy access to the Dallas Arboretum, Arts District, White Rock Lake and Klyde Warren Park.
“We all loved the location and proximity to work, shopping and restaurants,” says Brannon. “These types of homes have great neighborhood amenities and much less maintenance when it comes to courtyards.”
“To know it is to love it,” agrees Nethery. “Living in a zero-lot-line community makes it ideal for real estate sales in this way of life.”
Both agents have previously worked in the corporate world, which they believe provides an excellent foundation and training in what is important in the real estate industry: white glove service, effective communication, out-of-the-box problem solving and negotiating skills. Where can you eat and drink
Rex Seafood is a relaxed, casual dining and market for buying fresh seafood to prepare at home.

Where to play
Many of the zero-lot-line neighborhoods, says Brannon, have venues for pickleball, tennis, swimming, and walking, “plus dog parks to relax with our pups”.
the Dallas route system is also nearby, connecting many zero-lot-line communities to the larger DFW trail system, which means you can run, bike, and hike from your doorstep.
Something to see
Your possibilities are great: the Biblical Art Museum; the Nasher art collection NorthPark Center, which also includes temporary exhibitions; the Meadow Museum on the SMU campus; and the library in George W. Bush Presidential Center.
