Urban Meyer hasn’t even trained in a regular season game and is already getting very hot. Depending on who you ask, there are several reasons the former Florida head coach is leaning the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wrong direction. The main reason is that the Jags lost their first two preseason games.

It’s true that the jaguars are still in the works. You have to do a better job protecting whoever is behind the center and finding a way to keep opposing teams from feasting on their secondary. On the plus side, they have one more game to fix any issues they have before the regular season starts.

The Jaguars will travel to AT&T Stadium to compete against the Dallas Cowboys in the preseason finale. Here are five bold predictions ahead of the game.

1. The Jacksonville Jaguars start the running game.

Even before Travis Etienne left the game, the Jags struggled to play the ball against the New Orleans Saints in Week 2 of the preseason. Urban Meyer blames the team’s inability to hit the stone due to missed assignments and blocking issues. The coaching staff will eliminate these problems and James Robinson, Carlos Hyde, Dare Ogunbowale and Devine Ozigbo will have free careers against the Dallas Cowboys.

Even if Jacksonville’s offensive line doesn’t have full strength and once again gets by without a starter, they will establish the run early in the game and average 5.0 yards per carry.
