Developer snaps up more Mesquite land to expand new business park
A developer who has just started building a Mesquite business park has purchased additional land to expand the project.
Dalfen Industrial has just broken ground for two buildings at its Mesquite Airport Logistics Center on East Scyene Road near Interstate 635.
The two buildings under construction will have a total area of approximately 1 million square meters.
Dalfen has now acquired another 86 hectares in order to build another warehouse building with almost 650,000 square meters.
The first two new buildings are scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2022.
In January, Dalfen Industrial bought land for the first phase of the project near Mesquite Airport. Dalfen has also built a 45-acre industrial park on East Kearney Street near Interstate 635.
Dalfen, based in Dallas, is an investor and developer of industrial real estate in the United States and Canada.
The markets east of Dallas – including Mesquite and Forney – are seeing a surge in industrial construction as demand for retail space in North Texas has increased.
