At the end of their Oxnard stint, the Cowboys will travel to Glendale, Arizona, to play against the Cardinals in their second preseason game on August 13th. They’ll be returning to Dallas immediately after the game, which obviously means nothing much is expected from Cooper or Lawrence during this California stint.
That doesn’t seem too alarming for players of Cooper and Lawrence’s caliber. Even after returning from the west coast, the Cowboys still have three weeks and two games in the preseason before they cut the roster. Jones seemed confident that the Cowboys will have plenty of time to prepare the pair for the regular season.
“I think we’re going to get some game activity from all of these guys,” he said.
