Three new office buildings are coming to CityLine in Richardson after developer KDC announced on September 21st that it would expand the development by 1.4 million square feet.

The buildings, named Five Cityline, Six Cityline and Seven Cityline, will have 18, 13 and 15 floors respectively. They will join the 2.6 million square feet of office space and 200,000 square feet of restaurant, retail and entertainment space already under development, according to a press release from KDC.

Current corporate tenants include State Farm and Raytheon. CityLine also includes apartments and hotel space. According to the announcement, more than 4,000 residents are within walking distance of the settlement.

“CityLine is one of metroplex’s most successful urban, traffic-focused developments,” said Walt Mountford, KDC’s executive vice president of development, in a statement. “These three new towers build on the success of the project and offer an exceptional opportunity for tenants looking for office space in an already established and thriving walk-through community.”

Areas in the buildings are already being marketed to prospective tenants, according to the announcement. They can be adapted to specific tenant requirements and, depending on the version, are available for large users as a preliminary version.

Aarica Mims, Senior Vice President and Director of Leading at KDC, said CityLine is ideal for employee retention and recruitment as the development provides “high quality buildings with easy access to great amenities”.

“As an award-winning mixed-use project, CityLine reviews all of these criteria,” she said in the press release.

The buildings are designed by the Dallas-based architecture firm Corgan and Associates. They will have glass facades and, according to the press release, contain state-of-the-art fresh air filter systems and non-contact functions. Parking spaces will be set up below the offices.
