Texans are preparing to return to normal vacation travel habits this holiday season.
AAA Texas is forecasting the highest increase in Thanksgiving travel in a year since 2005, which could bring the volume back near pre-pandemic levels.
“Despite gasoline prices that are one dollar per gallon higher than last year, 93% of Texans still plan to use car as their preferred means of travel,” said Daniel Armbruster, spokesman for AAA Texas.
