Luka Doncic achieved a season high of 33 points for the Mavericks, who lost for the first time in four home games.
Jalen Brunson added 25 points on his first start of the season from injuries that sidelined big Dallas stars Kristaps Porzingis and Maxi Kleber.

TEST PROBLEMS
Seasoned Mavericks security guard Trey Burke, who is not vaccinated, missed the COVID-19 test window for the second time in four games and was unavailable, forfeiting another game check. Coach Jason Kidd said Burke will be traveling with the team for Wednesday night’s game in San Antonio.
