Dallas Cowboys cheerleader’s engagement video wins the Internet

Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Amber McMillan’s marriage proposal went viral. Soon-to-be husband Nick Marino Jr. proposed marriage to McMillan to the giant Cowboys star known simply as “The Star” in Frisco. The Cowboys cheerleader defined the moment as “perfect”.

“I’ve been cheerleading the Dallas Cowboys for the last four years, so this is such a big part of my life. It was perfect to do it there.”

The planning

Marino told around 100 friends and family about his plans. In the invitation, he made himself pretty clear about rules that everyone invited had to follow to ensure that no one ruined the surprise.

“There was actually a part on the invitation about how not to ruin a surprise. First, don’t tell Amber. Second, don’t be late and if you are late, please write to me at the restaurant where Amber was going to have brunch! “

Marino ordered around because he’d been planning the proposal since June. McMillan is certain that the fiancé couldn’t have done anything better. Cowboys cheerleaders said:

“It couldn’t have been more perfect, even if he’d had a different idea. I don’t know if it could have been better. It was just so perfect.”

The couple

A few years ago the two met at an event where Marino’s nonprofit TangoTab – a fun and easy way to solve a serious and massive problem, hunger – was feeding the community. Marino confirms that it was a setup. He asked a mutual friend to arrange for the Cowboys cheerleaders to be at the event so he could meet them.
