HITEC Ready to Welcome the Hospitality Technology Industry to Dallas in September, Event Given the Okay to Proceed at 100 Percent Capacity

As the Technology Exhibition and Conference for the Hospitality Industry (HITEC®) approaches 2021, the event expands its program and prepares to welcome the industry back after a one-year hiatus. The manufacturer Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP®) is now planning to increase its capacity, as the congress center has just announced that there will be no participant restrictions. Given the ongoing pandemic, health policies and protocols remain in place to protect all participants. HITEC North America will take place September 27-30, 2021 at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, USA.

“The hospitality industry is starting to rebuild business as restrictions are lifted and people are ready to travel again, but that doesn’t mean it will continue.” said HFTP CEO Frank Wolfe, CAE. “Rather, hospitality organizations have made numerous updates to their business models, implemented new technologies and are confronted with changing guest expectations over the past year and a half. HITEC will be a great opportunity to come and see firsthand what they were like. addressed and experienced first hand what worked and what didn’t.

HITEC Dallas has planned a four day training program covering key industry topics such as: New Technologies in F&B, Decentralized ID, Direct Selling vs. Third Party Vendors, Hyper-Personalization, Defining a Digital Hotel, Ethical Riddles in Technology, Urgent Cybersecurity Threats and more. In addition, HITEC has an exhibition hall that will house over 250 solution providers presenting a range of products and services to support the hotel technology industry.

The HITEC Dallas Closing General Session Speaker has just been announced: Cybercrime expert John Sileo, who will speak on September 30th from 2:15 pm to 3:30 pm CDT.
