NFL Week 1 live updates: Scores, schedule, injury updates, start times, channels, news, highlights from Sunday’s games
Nine games begin at 1 p.m. ET on the first Sunday of the 2021 NFL regular season.
Two early chalkboard games of the day are matchups between playoff teams from a year ago. The Steelers and steadfast Ben Roethlisberger travel to Buffalo to face MVP candidate Josh Allen and the Bills. Seattle faces Indianapolis, where Colts quarterback Carson Wentz has the go-ahead to start under the middle after undergoing surgery during training camp to repair a piece of bone that fell off his foot.
Later that afternoon, the Browns and Chiefs meet in a possible AFC playoff preview while the Hurricane Ida displaced Saints host the Packers in Jacksonville.
The bears meet the rams during a nightcap on Sunday.
