Two more towers on the way from developer Granite Properties
One of the top Dallas-area developers is advancing plans for two new towers – one in Uptown Dallas and the other in Plano.
Granite Properties has been working on the skyscrapers for some time. But the company recently submitted planning documents showing details of the developments.
The Granite Park Six Tower is an 18-story building to be built east of the Dallas North Tollway in Plano. The 420,000-square-foot project is the latest in Granite Properties’ 20-year-old mixed-use development on the southeast corner of Toll Road and State Highway 121.
Granite Park Six, designed by architect BOKA Powell, would be the tallest building in development to date.
Granite Properties has recently commenced utility and landscaping work for the “future Granite Park Six Office Tower,” according to the planning documents submitted to the state.
And the developer is already pitching the project to potential tenants.
In Uptown Dallas, Granite Properties has been working on plans for its 23 Springs skyscraper on Cedar Springs Road and Maple Avenue since 2018. The new office and retail tower is intended to replace small office buildings on the corner.
The developer said it plans to lay the foundation for the $ 169 million mixed-use project next year with a 26-story speculative office building, a one-story restaurant, and six levels of underground parking, according to state planning documents.
Dallas architect GFF designed the uptown project, which would take more than two years to build.
It is one of the largest new towers proposed in the Uptown neighborhood north of downtown Dallas.
